Part 1: Transcription.

In this part, we will show you how to use the AI transcription feature in Adobe Premiere Pro. Create a new project by clicking the ‘New Project’ button, continue by setting your project location and name, and then click the ‘Create’ button. Now, import your video into your new project. To transcribe your video, select the ‘Text’ option from the menu tab.

Part 2: Text-Based Edit.

This Adobe Premiere Pro AI feature is to remove unwanted scenes by deleting them based on the text in the transcription. To do that, go to the ‘Window’ menu, select ‘Workspace,’ and choose the ‘Text-Based Editing’ option.

Part 3: Create Auto Caption.

We can also use AI transcription results to create auto captions for our video. To do that, go to the ‘Captions’ tab and click the ‘Create Captions from Transcript’ button. After that, select a caption preset from the list.

Part 4: Edit Caption.

First, go to the Windows menu and select the ‘All Panels’ option. From the timeline window, block or make a selection for our caption. After that, go to the Essential Graphics panel and open the ‘Edit’ tab. From this tab, you can customize your captions, such as making changes to the font, size, text position, color, and more.
